You need go check out this Flash 3D implementation at ecodazoo. It’s very smooth and fluent 3D. If you check the CPU usage, it’s very minimum. I’m not Flash 3D guy but still I feel it must have done thing very differently and creatively. Anybody around here knows much about Flash 3D want give some comments?

It was developed by Japanese firm Roxik using a custom built, closed source 3D engine called Sharikura. You can see more examples at http://temp.roxik.com/datas/physics/.
Dear,
Please go thorugh http://www.beedigital.net/blog/2008/09/the-eco-zoo-ecodadobutsuen/
The site is done by Masayuki Kido from Japan (http://roxik.com) using his own 3D engine called Sharikura 3D and it is my absolute favorite example for use of Flash 3D for navigation. Apart from the superb technical quality of the 3D graphics, this guy just rocks when it comes to visuals. Here’s some more examples of his work:

I’ve seen some discussion about him opensourcing this engine, but for now it’s his personal project. He’s also presented at MAX Japan. Absolutely kick ass stuff!

That has got to be about the most amazing flash site I have ever seen. It is very light and responsive. The popup books beat the heck out of page flippers..
I read that he use his own 3d engine.
http://roxik.com/ he is the creator.
This is created by Roxik and his own 3D framework. Check out his website for amazing 3d demos …

Yes, this site is pretty darn cool.
It was developed by Masayuki Kido using his own 3d engine, Sharikura 3D Library, which can be found here - http://temp.roxik.com/datas/physics/.
It got Site of the Year award over at theFWA.com.
I posted this as part of amzing flash sites in my website and I’m still amazed and wonder how did they do that. I think they used AS3 which is faster and requires little CPU any way the site is incredible.
Really cool…thanks for sharing this one with me.
