Rounding up Last Week One Day Later

Posted by Sravan | February 17, 2009 .

iBrams won the Adobe Innovation Award 2008 for its AIR app iBrams Desktop Assistant. David Tucker became an Adobe Community Expert, and Rich Tretola again became one. Hearty congratulations to you all. Anyone else I missed out?

The lovely Adobe AIR marketplace got a new look last week with an improved look-and-feel and new features.

Aral stumbled upon a framework called Swiz, delved deeper without getting scared when it called itself the “brutally simple micro-architecture for Rich Internet Application development with Adobe Flex”, and now loves it. Ariel, on the other hand, feels overloaded by all these frameworks.

Scott Barnes wrote that he is resisting to retort regarding Mark Garrett’s comments about Adobe not considering Silverlight as a challenge, but is happy with Tim Sneath’s response.

I am not a gamer, much less one who buys them, but you may be interested in the Adobe AIR game called Blokt. James finds it strangely addictive.

What I would like is to try the Amazon Kindle and the Sony Reader. I am very much into reading e-books, I volunteer for the Project Gutenberg, and I do believe that there is an eReading revolution underway.
