CartoVista Now Supports Adobe Flex

DBx Geomatics Inc. recently released CartoVista v2.0 with full support for Adobe Flex. CartoVista is a dynamic data visualization suite that can be used to build and publish rich dashboards and perform dynamic data analysis. The below image shows the impressive architecture of various modules of the suite.

The new CartoVista API is the module that has been developed to integrate with HTML/Javascript and Adobe Flex. For an in depth tour of each of its modules – Data publishing, Publisher, Viewer, API – check out the feature video tour. All the documentation is available online.

CartoVista is Windows-only. I couldn’t find a link to download the software or any options that may be available.

DBx Geomatics Inc. is a sixteen-year-old company based in Ottawa, Canada, that specializes in interactive web mapping applications and works towards the integration of MapInfo technologies and web standards. svgX and SVGMapMapker are its other products.
