Twitter is done and locks up our site

At this moment the twitter site still can’t be accessed. Too bad we use a twitter badge on our site. The script from twitter hangs our site so that the rest of page(scripts) won’t work.
When Twitter is getting hotter and much widely used, the question raising is, can we count on such startup, which hasn’t found viable business model to make some doughs?
