Jeff Atwood chronicled the evolution of Evony advertising and it is very amusing. Evony, FYI, is the Flash-based game whose advertisements have become, unfortunately, ubiquitous. I am sad that I haven’t come across the last stage so far. Out of curiosity, did anybody ever click on these ads? All I ever did was to check out its Wikipedia entry.
The Michael Jackson Memorial was live telecast in HD by, guess who, Microsoft Silverlight. I have been seeing increasingly many projects won by Silverlight in the online live webcasting arena. I think the Team Silverlight Blog is doing a very good job publicizing about every sizable project it bags.
