The entire blogosphere is abuzz with the Adobe MAX widget that Serge Jespers made. I am not able to embed it in this post.

Be sure to update your Flex apps to use the 3.4 SDK. It contains a fix to a critical security bug that could cause cross-site scripting when using the older SDKs. AIR app TweetDeck dethroned another AIR app Twhirl to become the most used Twitter client outside the browser. Did Twhirl lose its share because Seesmic is concentrating on bigger things?

Jeff Atwood in this insightful post remembered Microsoft Bob and Tilt, two different projects that became grand failures for entirely different reasons.

Rob Christensen listed a few AIR-related sessions coming to Adobe MAX this October, and Peter Elst looked through the hazy crystal ball to make a few predictions about MAX 2009. AIR 2.0 is one of the big things that didn’t enter my mind until reading these posts, though they don’t reveal much. :(

Some Silverlight news after a while: Silverlight will be used for live delivery of all the NFL Sunday Night Football games this season. I would like Silverlight to brag more non-sports wins from now on. We already have a good idea about its market share in sports telecasting.

Last week was a big week for Wikipedia what with its 3 millionth article, own iPhone app and a $0.5 Mn Hewlett Grant.
