I’m at a conference in San Diego. It’s time to try out my Nokia N95 as a wireless modem so that I don’t have pay $10 for hotel’s rip-off internet connection. If you find this post then it works. I use T-Mobile with $5 monthly T-mobileweb subscription. Interesting is that so far I can get my email without problem via Outlook. But I can’t get to browse online with either Firefox or IE. Keep getting bad server request error. I think it has something to do with t-mobile. Oh well, wish you can read this post.
[update] well, too bad I can’t post the entry directly from Windows Live Writer. It has the same problem that it sent something out that the server doesn’t like it. Now let me try the email posting because my email work well with the N95 modem so far.
[update] um…doesn’t work with email. no problem getting emails from gmail but can’t send anything out. Guess now only two options left, SMS to email and gmail on cellphone (wish has a bluetooth keyboard for N95 with me)
[update] Finally get wifi wireless from the conference, hence this post. Still some way to go for low cost wireless cell connection…

The problem because you can not browse the web is the $5 plan you using. To be able to browse you need to have unlimited data plan from tmobile which is $20 a month
