Why Microsoft spam our blog

I guess I can’t reduce spam to zero after all. I’ve got spamed by Microsoft or their advocates, marketers, whoever. For Zune. Here is the prove.

This is the only spam I’ve got since installed Peterâ€™s Custom Anti-Spam Image Plugin for Wordpress. Seems I still need Akismet for fat-finger spamers.

But why they are doing this?

I’m as much into MS bashing as the next geek, but that IP is owned by a company in New Delhi, not the US.

That makes it even more interesting. Why a New Delhi company spams for Microsoft. What they gain from this?

Yeah, spam that is manually done is pretty much impossible to discern 100% without starting to weed out legitimate comments.

Also, be sure to change up your anti-spam words every once in a while.
