To qualify to be a Web 2.0 application, by rule of thumb, it must have certain Web 2.0 look. Can’t that “common wisdom” apply to Flex based RIA apps as well? Or do you really want your Flex application looks like a Web 2.0 site?
I don’t want to crack the questions, yet. But just in case you’d like to give it try, you can start with putting a Web 2.0 style badge on your apps. Here are places you can learn (or copy) a thing or two:
Fresh Badge - Quickly generate your own badge.
adClustr - Starburst badges.
Deziner Folio - A collection of different badges.
BittBox - Free vector badges.
Official Seal Generator - An alternative to the typical badge.
Photoshop Tutorial - A quick lesson on making your own badge.
Glossy Photoshop Tutorial - Create a glossy badge with this tutorial.
You can’t doesn’t mean you should. You shouldn’t doesn’t mean you don’t need to know how. So, give it a try and tell us how your Flex looks.
