Here is quit a interesting Flash application site, Wiffiti. I would think it also in the widget space too.
Shown below, everyone can create a “place” or “wall”, which a Flash UI and embed it anywhere you want. Everyone else sees it, can text message from a cell phone to it. And the message will shown up on the wall. In my case, you can txt ‘@flex888 message’ to 25622 and see it happens.
To have one this for yourself, register with this site to get free account. The “screen” creation is also a Flash application. You can specify fond color and style. You can link your flickr photo to be the background image, if the wall image make you shaking and nerves because of the bad experience with cop when did the real world thing once. That’s it. Then you can just embed it to your site and see how people abuse your screen.
It’ll be fun to put this on a big screen in a party, just a thought. But try it, txt ‘@flexx888 message’ to 25622.
