uncluttered Amazon the uncluttr way - good AJAX

A RIA application can fall short, most of time, on cluttered and over designed UI. All the RIA development tools can help very easily creating flashing UI but that’s not creativity. It’s abusing the tools. Simplicity is the king.

Here is a good example, in AJAX actually, uncluttr.com. It’s a services to access Amazon products via a simple AJAX interface. The drag and drop shopping cart work straight forward. It actually remind me the sample application comes with Flex since the day one, the Shopping Demo. Wondering why there isn’t anybody ports it to link to either Amazon or Ebay. Anyway, sometimes because of AJAX’s limitation, it does has certain advantage when comes to develop a simply web UI.
