Books That Make You Dumb Visualized

It’s interesting to see hundreds of hours of research can be visualized on a image without a lengthy scientific paper to read. Here is an example. Virgil Griffith did a research (not sure how much science behind it though) by linking SAT score to the books people read. The result of cause is focusing what books could make you dumb. If you pay attention to the color scheme you would find some interesting linkage such reading erotica material can either make you smart or very dumb. I don’t know, nothing for sure these days.

The reason you’re seeing erotica making the reader look smart or dumb is because (and most people haven’t read the research on intelligence, because it’s not very politically correct) but men tend to have a larger variance in IQ than women. If you walk into a room with a bunch of people in it, the brightest and the dumbest are likely to be men. Men tend to read more erotica than women, therefore you would be more likely to see erotica in the the tails of the distribution.
