Adobe just had a big Bang with the releases of both Flex 3 and AIR 1.0. All the signs show that it’s about time for Silverlight 2.0 to give RIA another push. Could be very soon. And, according to Jesse Liberty at Silverlight.net, “Silverlight 2 is big. Very big. It’s great, but it is very big, with many cool features.”

From what I learned from Scott Guthrie’s post, the Silverlight 2 will finally become something can be mentioned side by side with Flex, in terms of RIA development features for real RIA development. Up to now, Silverlight is pretty much just catching up what Flash does about bit stream on screen. All the .Net developers feel short handed whenever touch it.
Can’t wait to compare Silverlight 2 to Flex 3.
