Official Google Maps API Blog Killed

Posted by Sravan | June 4, 2008 .

Trouble with Google Reader is that it only brings in feeds from the sites to which we subscribe, and not an iota more. If only it could also figure out how to make me read all those items.

When I haven’t gotten anything new from Google Maps API for over a week, I got concerned. Was the team on a strike?

Turns out, they “retired the blog“. They moved on to a Google Geo Developers Blog. It makes sense. The blog started getting posts on all topics mildly related to Google Geo from Google’s AJAX APIs Team, Geo APIs Team, Maps API Team, My Maps Team, and I-don’t-know-what-else-they’ve-got team.

You can subscribe to their new blog here. Even the Google Earth API Team is now posting.
