Have you ever visited this flash site? With nearly 2.5 million visitors so far, you might have. I’m reminded of a quote that I had read ages ago. Paraphrased, it reads like this: There are only two groups of flash fanatics — those who have visited this website, and those who will. The website takes one step beyond touch screens.
Challenging every netizen’s urge (instinct) to click is innovative and revolutionary. Simply posing that challenge seems like a giant leap in interactive design. Either you’re going to hate the site and close the tab because you can’t resist clicking, or you’ll love it once you get adjusted to not-clicking after the first few seconds.
The site is the final artwork of Alex Frank for his diploma! He cites some organizations, website portals and individuals (including Issey Miyake, a fashion designer) as inspiration. The work itself can provide inspiration for a lot of flash designers.
