With RIA jobs on the rise, it is about time for RIA developes to have an exclusive job site. Peter Elst, a renowned adobe community expert, launched RIAJobs.org today.
The job board which calls itself “the web 2.0 repository” has a simple look. It has openings listed under eight categories: AIR, Ajax, Flash, Flex, Google Gears, JavaFX, Silverlight, Web 2.0. There are currently twelve job offers on the board and the number should definitely take off once the other half of the world rises.
Peter writes in his blog that work is on to have a freelancer database of RIA developer profiles in the near future, and an AIR application that allows users to set up notification for any specific job description, location, etc. I wonder if he is looking for volunteers from the community.
Posting jobs is free of cost (other than the featured ones) and it suffices to fill a small form for each. Advertisers can find relevant information here. Patrons can use the code snippets provided in the site widgets page. For any feedback or queries, write to info at riajobs dot org.
Subscribe to the RSS feed or follow RIAJobs on Twitter. Let us hope that RIAJobs becomes a wonderful resource for RIA developers and customers.

Am I correct that there’s hardly Flex and a lot of Silverlight being requested??? I guess it’s a bad sign…
Oops - I mixed up this job site with http://jobs.riapedia.com/a/jbb/find-jobs
The one by Peter Elst is much better
Thanks Peter!!!
