Flex 3 won InfoWorld’s Bossie (Best of Open Source Software Award) as the developer tool for RIAs. Congratulations and many thanks to all Flex developers. Interested folks can contribute in various ways to the Flex Open Source Project.
Catalonia has Olimpics.cat, China has CCTV, but sports fans of USA don’t need to feel left out anymore. They now have TeamUSA to track Olympics events in a trendier fashion. Ashley Atkins (Razorberry) shares that his book AIR in Action is now in stores. Readers can also buy the book on Amazon, or the e-book on Manning. A couple of sample chapters are also available on the latter link. My best wishes, Ash.
Lastly, unrelated but interestingly, Ars Technica reveals that imeem and Lala are streaming unencrypted MP3s. Phew!
