On AIR Tour
Until recently, I had no idea about this cool workshop that taught Adobe AIR. The on AIR European tour was an eleven city train tour through Europe where people could learn how to bring their web applications to the desktop using Adobe AIR. It was a hands-on experience for registered participants to learn this RIA technology from several biggies of the community involved in the event.
For those of us who couldn’t get to participate in the event, the official website contained a live view of all the latest content, blog posts, images, videos, and they are still available there.
Like all good things, however, the tour ended a couple of months ago. But then there was an AIR bus tour the previous year. So I guess (and hope) this will be a yearly convention.
How cool would it be if they came to Asia next year! Come to India, they must. I wonder what the mode of transport will then be.
