Streaming Flash Movie with Ruby

Posted by Charles | September 21, 2008 .

If you can do that then it means you can create a Rails Flash movie server. Yes, you do, with RubyIZUMI.

RubyIZUMI is an open source RTMP Server for Flash Video/Audio Streaming. It is written in (Pure) Ruby and it supports to broadcast MP4(H.264 + AAC). You can watch it on the latest Flash player on your browser. It’s from Takuma Mori at Vixy.tv.

Of cause, if you are really into Flash server, the open source Red5 is another great one worth a installation.
