Google Earth is now officially on iPhones and iPod Touches (or is that iPods Touch?). It is available in 18 languages and 22 countries in the iTunes App Store.
Google now has another example it can follow to understand betas. SlideRocket, that rich app for rich presentations, has apparently removed its beta tag within one month of being in publich beta stage.
The resourceful Grooveshark recently got into Widget space. The widget comes in two versions: multi-song and single-song, with further customizations within them. The widget can be posted in “over thirty different site”, whatever that might mean, including your Myspace and blog. Visit widgets.grooveshark.com to get yours. I might not be able to test it because I’ve been facing usability issues with Grooveshark, and an email (perhaps sent to the wrong person) remains unanswered.
Finally, I know we don’t need any more such reports, but now that we’ve got used to them, here it is: Dow Jones VentureSource in a report cited that the number of IT venture deals falls to a 10-year low. We must shortly start seeing the repercussions in the RIA industry as well.
