Flex RIA From 2008 To 2009

Posted by Sravan | December 31, 2008 .

With each passing year, we look back into the past as if by rule and try to see if it meant anything. Thanks to the Wayback Machine, I could get a glimpse of how Flex RIA had been before I joined it. (Flex RIA on Jan 05, 2008)

Back then we had about 130 RSS subscribers. Today there are a steady 1,100-1,200 except on those days when Feedburner doesn’t like us. We placed a Twitter badge then itself though we are yet to adopt Twitter well even today. (I have started tweeting only recently and am still discovering its true potential.)

We were also told that we are a top Flex site. We have only grown along with the RIA community and but for the RIA technologies which we all love, this wouldn’t have been possible.

We know we can do better but as our regular readers must have noticed we aren’t big on buzzwords that can take blogging to dizzying heights. All we have been doing is to keep ourselves abreast with various advances in these technologies and share them with you regularly.

We would love to hear more about your expectations from this blog, and about ways that you think can make us reach more people. Please take a minute to share your thoughts through the comment form below.

Happy New Year.
