piZap is an online photo editor useful in quickly editing a photo with effects, and sharing it on various social networks. Quick is the keyword.
piZap loads very quickly, whether it is loading a page or adding any of the effects that can be. The load status bar, which is very unlike the default bar we see on Flex apps is itself a fresh feature. The green bar tries to fill up very fast and moves backward sometimes (which is not a recommended thing).
There are many features like adding different kinds of Text, Stickers, various parts and accessories to the face. I liked the feature of setting custom effects in particular. The paint brush, however, is one thing that I did not like. The long handle of the brush is very distracting.
For a start, one feature that users might like to have is a scissors to slice away some parts of an image. The app gives an impression that is used for funny purposes but I believe it has a potential to be used even otherwise.
The latest wacky creations presented in the piZap gallery are wacky in every sense and NSFW. Looks like people have only used it for weird sense of fun until now. The sorting based on “Highest rated” is to be improved because an average rating of 5 for a photo with only 3 votes doesn’t mean anything. It perhaps should be a combination of its average rating, number of votes and time since which it has existed.
I haven’t seen a Flex website with more Google Ads, or for that matter any ads before. I don’t mind it at all; they are welcome.
Try piZap and check out the gallery (NSFW).
One thing that I wasn’t aware of and found through the piZap pages is that Adobe Flash 10 is not compatible with Vista 64-bit computers. Is it still true?
