Sliding Flickr in Flash Transparent Screen

I think this is more for photos than either Flash or Flickr. This site, runs a Flash Flickr slider, which you might find else where. The photos are unique though. Each one of them contains a computer with transparent screen showing the background. Some how the author is really fascinated about this kinda of effect so that he put all them together. I just love internet.

It seems a night for business. Behind the site, I’ve engaged in a conversion about setting up a business, which is triggered by my 100 flex Business posts. Interestingly, the topics are always going back the very point, which is that starting a business needs a start.

Then, the discussion went to how to start a company and where to get incorporated. I don’t think it’s a place to discuss it here in details. But, just in case my readers sharing some of the thought about to starting something, the Nevada corporations is always a good place try. It’s cheap.

A Flash Design Lab Admired

You’ve got to admire what those Flash designers can do. The Mathieu Badimon’s Lab is a good example. It’s also an excellent example that creativity usually comes in simple form. When get on this site, you won’t find crowded items, colors or text. It shows what you should be focusing on according to your mouse and attention. There is no distraction. That focus and simplicity drive you to take action, clicks. And results are revealing some creative. I’d suggest you play through all the demonstrations, which could be inspiring for your own creations.

If you haven’t heard of Twitter lately then you must be …well, let me just say you should. Funny is that every time I describe what twitter is, the first word came out of my listener is “stalking”. I think in may way, it’s the right way to think what Twitter is. People like to be followed (stalked) as long as they won’t get hurt. Silverlight 1.0 is out

Today Microsoft released Silverlight 1.0 and the official Silverlight site is I’d say that’s a very fast-paced release. It means the competition is very serious now in the RIA space. Anyway, here are all the Silverlight goodies: Go download the the latest runtime version from here: Mac or Windows. The Alpha 1.1 is out too, get it from here: Mac or Windows. Flex to Receive Phone Calls

Application developed using Flex and Adobe AIR will be able to make phone communication with the Ribbit Phone Component. There is this waiting going on for awhile and it suppose will come out in next couple of weeks. I can’t say how good their components are. However, they are indeed filling a void that makes Flex/AIR based RIA be participating the common communication world.
