YouTube sets Flash as the standard video delivery mechanism on the web, the coming HD Flash will solidify that position. Then, how about all those documents, what every they are? Well, they are all belonging to Flash too, according to Scribd, the place where upload/view/download all the documents around the world. If you dig a bit more, there are lots of crazy stuffs there. Kids these days play ipod, DS, motorized transformer or anything preparing them into the ever growing gadget culture. They might occasionally played this good old Sketch and drop it. But this is such a fun and creativity inspiring toy. I believe simple toys with unlimited result from creativity are the best. If you played Tetris before you can play this Flash game, Statetris. Playing this will either embarrassed yourself with the lack of geo knowledge of the world or you will be proud of yourself. The game is simple. Try to fit a dropping shape of a state into the right place on a map. It’s harder than you would think actually. Give it a try.

May be it’s me. I always want to find what the purpose of a site. This HybridWorks site is astonishingly creative and beautiful. There are lots to learn from this design studio site. However I had a hard time at beginning to figure out what they do. As whole Flash site, it’s fairly complex in term of laying out and delivering contents. There are many places you can find all the web 2.0 startups but there is only one place all of them got “Flashed”, the Go2Web20 logo cloud. This Flash is quite simple. EBay San Dimas beta ready for download

Sam Dimas is EBay’s next generation desktop application. San Dimas is built on the Adobe AIR platform (formerly code-named Apollo). If you have the Alpha version of Apollo installed, you will have to uninstall it before installing San Dimas. See the Adobe AIR SDK release notes for details on how to do this. New RIA Player Materialized through Song Birds

Aside from Adobe Flash, Flex and AIR, Microsoft Silverlight, Sun JavaFX and AJAX, Firefox is another potential strong RIA player. Especially when Firefox 3 coming out. The reason I believe it’s a strong RIA player is that, with Firefox or Mozilla platform, the line between online (browser) and offline (desktop) will be cleanly removed. Now, here comes a prove, SongBirds. SongBirds is getting into this crowded Music social network area.
